Monte's Fine Foods

I ordered the Sopresatta pizza which is tomato sauce, mozzarella, sopressata, pepperoncini, hot honey, grana and basil… all their pizzas are made Roman style, and we also got a little sampler of their cannoli, plain, chocolate chip and pistachio. Everything was great, this was definitely in the top 3 pizzas I’ve ever had. The Italian market is also awesome, with everything you can imagine. Highly recommended!!! My only complaint, and I didn’t take away stars for it, was that I was early to pick up my pizza so I went ahead and paid for it browsed while I waited… well, about 30 minutes later luckily someone else asked me if I needed anything and I mentioned I was just waiting, and they looked and my food had been done and was just sitting there for no telling how long, they had never called me name or anything. Booo…. But again, still absolutely wonderful and will be back for more pizza and Italian shopping.

Stopped here looking for a good sub. The market itself is really nice inside, with a wide variety of groceries and fun things to browse through. I love Italian sandwiches, so I ordered the Monte’s Italian and was disappointed — it didn’t feel like a true Italian sub. It was light in the meats and spices and heavy on the veg. However, I tried a bite of the Ray’s Italian and was completely blown away. It’s an Italian sandwich taken to the next level. Next time I come back, that’s the one I’m getting. I also tried the chicken club sandwich and thought it was really good. The chicken cutlet was breaded and crunchy, maybe a little dry, but overall had great flavor. You can tell everything is made with fresh ingredients. The guys running the place were so friendly, and the outdoor seating is a great spot to enjoy your food on a sunny day.

The chicken Caesar sandwich was excellent. The sandwiches are beyond the hype! Already looking forward to going back! The Italian is messy but very delicious. Make sure to get napkins!

Monte’s is amazing! The pizza is SO good (esp the vodka with pasta shown in pic). It’s a cute store with unique Italian items and if you live close by it’s nice for quick items when you don’t feel like going to the grocery store. Everyone is so nice in there also. There isn’t any place to sit and eat so everything is take out and they do deliver if you’re close by. 10\10 would recommend!

We wanted a quick meal but had time to sit down. We ordered pizza slices and were not disappointed. Our group of 4 had the pepperoni and cheese slices. They toasted the pizzas for us and it was perfect. The sauce was generous and full of flavor. The crust was crunchy and chewy. Lots of seating.
