509 Philly Stop

We just stopped by off the freeway on our way to Seattle to this gem of a joint. The owners are originally from Philadelphia and you can tell with how they love on you as soon as you walk in. My friends and I felt at ease and he even added jalapeños after the order was made. The rolls are imported directly from Philly so you’re getting an authentic cheese steak. The fry sauce was sneaky good as well. This will be our new stop going through Ellensburg instead of McDonald’s!!!!!!!!!!!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. I was driving five hours across the state and desperate for food and a break, and since I am anti corporate I did not want a chain restaurant. 509 Philly Stop popped up on my map and I had been craving a Philly cheesesteak for months so I figured why not. I got off the exit into a very small town and walked in to see Mari at the counter with her tablet ready to take my order and a big welcoming smile, and in the back was Leo the master chef cooking. The whole place has a memorabilia man cave vibe with photos, rocks, and toy trucks everywhere. I ordered a full cheesesteak thinking I would eat half and take the rest home, but it was so good I ate the entire thing. While eating, a local (Joe) walked in and we chatted while his food was being made, sharing stories about the area and his life, and Mari and Leo shared their own amazing experiences too. Great food, great people, highly recommend.

Just had an amazing time at 509 Philly s in kittitas! 🤩 Hands down the best Philly cheesesteak in Kittitas County. We ordered the steak philly , grilled cheese, fries, and a burger - everything was 🔥! Great quality food, generous portions, and the service was top-notch. Prices were super reasonable too! The real bonus was being able to hang out and play games with the fam - my daughter was crushing it at Battleship 😂. Such a great atmosphere, can't wait to come back! If you haven't checked it out yet, DO IT! You won't be disappointed 👍

Great stop for a delicious bite. Philly, chicken parm, and grilled cheese really hit the spot. Fries and onion rings were crispy and fresh. On top of that, service was top notch. Will be dropping every time I’m in the area!

We stopped in here after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed! Besides the cheesesteak being delicious the fries were crispy and exactly how I like them. The rolls were so soft and the cheese steak fillings were piled high! This is a family owned and operated restaurant with great service and food, would highly recommend to anyone in the area. You're missing out if you don’t stop here!
