Koney King Restaurant

First off, the beautiful young lady who took my order and prepared it was courteous and efficient. She prepared my order of 4 dogs. 2 chili cheese w/ no onion & 2 only ketchup for the kids. Dog itself is nothing special. Tastes like a DQ dog. The chili though I thought had just the right amount of kick to it. Loved the flavor. Don't let the looks of this place from the outside fool ya. It's got nostalgic vibes & tastes like good, old-school, homemade diner food. I will be back a lot sooner than the 20 years I last had a 🌭 here. #dandoingdanthings ❤️🤍💙✊️🌭

Stopped by today for first time visit. Just me and the server in the place until a few more folks came in. She was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The koney king combo meal was the ticket. Simple, old school, delicious. And I loved the wax paper for the fries and paper doily for the dog. Matched the vintage decor perfectly. Ill be back!!

Old School Cool! Koney cheeseburgers are fire! Chili recipe should be housed in the National Archives. Staff are super friendly. Get here!!!!!!

I’m from indianapolis.. the server was a lil pissy but I understand she was the only one who was there and it was hot in there(no A/c) I had a koney grilled Polish sausage and a koney cheese dog and chili cheese fries.. the food was very good.. they should use shredded cheese instead of cheese slices.. price was very affordable to me! Wish they had a beef dog option that would’ve been dope but overall 9/10

Maybe it’s me, but I’m not with the loud talking and use of profanity from employees while customers are present. Soon as you walk in there’s no proper greeting given, it’s “what you wanna order?” The French fries were well done and the koney cheeseburger patty was hot but the chili was cold. Stopped by to see if it still tasted the same, I won’t be returning anytime soon.
