The Actors Studio of New Jersey

Great venue for concerts. It's a relatively small theater with great sound and sight lines for every seat. Some time in the past, every other row of seats were removed, making leg room a non-issue. They have low tables in front of each row. The connection to the attached restaurant allows for dining before or after a show, and for ordering a limited menu for the show with delivery at your seat. That's where those tables come in handy. Free street parking is available. Ticket prices are reasonable and they book quality acts.

First time for me here and it exceeded my expectations for an old school, completely unpretentious rock experience. Great staff, surprisingly good food. Affordable booze. I got a 20oz can of Cape May IPA. Easy to park, comfortable seating arrangements. Dynamic clear sound system and the two acts were thoroughly entertaining. Will be back!

So the theater is a gem. It needs a good cleaning! I understand it's from the 1920s, but that is no excuse for cleanliness! It's a good deal going on with the tavern next door. You can order food from there and they will deliver it to your seat. As for the musical act we saw, Statesboro band, a tribute to the Allman Brothers, they started out strong. But jezzzz, the band fell apart after the 4th song. We left before the second set.

What a great hidden gem. It was truly a wonderful night, great sound and plenty of dancing. The set up with tables in front of seats and food service was spot on. I will definitely be back to see some of the great upcoming shows on their schedule.
