Breastfeeding wasn’t going well, he wasn’t eating enough, and he wasn’t gaining weight. I had so much anxiety and honestly felt like I was failing him. Our previous pediatrician was kind, but communication was really hard, and I kept being told to just keep trying to breastfeed, even when I knew in my gut something wasn’t working. I finally reached a point where I was desperate and decided to give Damon formula and that was the moment I realized I needed to find a doctor I truly felt comfortable with and could really communicate with. She has been the most attentive doctor Damon has ever had, and you can genuinely tell that she cares deeply about every single one of her patients. As a mom, you can feel the difference the moment you walk in. Damon is seen, heard, and cared for like he actually matters, not like just another appointment on a schedule. Knowing that she built Goldilocks Pediatrics herself, with so much heart behind it, makes it even more special.
