Green Street Pub & Eatery

We dined here after a long day. Service was great. The menu has got me wanting to try several of their items which would have us returning. The dinner we ordered was good and as expected. Nothing terribly fancy or wow-worthy but, I got full and no complaints! The atmosphere could use a little jazzing up but, it appears they have been doing some renovating recently. The bar area seemed a little more cozy. We will be back to be wowed hopefully :)

Food was quite tasty, service was fast and friendly, atmosphere was nice, place is very big on the inside. Had the onion rings and hot cheese balls for appetizers, both were very flavorful and I would rate the onion rings a touch better. The buffalo chicken salad was delicious and quite generous portion. I got the hot which wasn't that spicy but had good flavor. The French fries were not that great. Beer was refreshing and cold.

The family had reservations for this place after my grandfathers funeral. There were roughly 50 people attending. They gave us 1 waitress for everybody. By the time the last person got their food. The first were already leaving. Which is not the waitress fault, she worked her butt off. The biggest issue we had was the bartender lady. She was the rudest lady I ever met! Because the church was paying for everyone’s meal, we decided to pay for our own adult beverages. We went to the bar and the women started off with she doesn’t have time for us, she will not set us up a tab, or make our drinks. Later while waiting for the waiter she pawned us off on to make our drinks. She came around the corner yelling “excuse me!” multiple at me as I was leaning on the frame of a 5ft wide door opening. I am not that fat, lady! She had plenty of room, she just wanted to be mean. Later my uncle went back up to get another drink. She told him she didn’t have time to put his draft beer on his tab, so she made him pay cash. There were roughly 7-9 people in this bar. They were all chatting, no one was requesting her. She just wanted to be rude. We all just finished laying our family member to rest, and that is the service we received. I think I speak for all 50+ family members when I say, we will NEVER eat here again.

Been going to this place for many years. Ownership change resulted in minimal overall change. Which is a good thing. Great tenderloins grilled or breaded, burgers, and apps. Breaded mushrooms are fresh and outstanding, and enough for 4 as an appetizer. A meal for 2. Good drinks and great service. Brownsburg has an outstanding selection of casual dining establishments, and this is one of them. Unless you're Joey Chestnut, be prepared to bring home leftovers.

I wish the food had six stars!! We had the chicken, mashed potatoes and white gravy and green beans, and two fried biscuits and apple butter. I nearly fell out of my chair! This is comfort food at its finest! I can not say enough good things. We will be back next week to have it again. The bartender was friendly and the drinks great. But the food, holy smokes
