The Knitter's Edge

This is a lovely yarn shop with a delightful staff. I'm never disappointed. To me the best features are: - The wide selection of yarns of all types, grouped so that you can find similar yarns near one another. -The huge selection of knitted and crocheted samples, each tagged with the name of the pattern and the name of the yarn used, so that you can find something similar to what you want to make and understand how it will knit up. There are racks and racks of completed samples, as well as knitted samples above the shelves of the yarn they were made with. - The staff, always extremely friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They point out yarns and samples, ball yarn from skeins, and print out free patterns for you. - The fun extras, including knitting and project bags of all shapes and sizes, and a large and varied button selection. And of course a selection of notions, needles, hooks, and anything else a knitter or crocheter could think of. They also have a large and thriving class calendar. I'm an hour away, so I haven't gone to classes before. I'm attending my first one shortly! I'm so grateful that a yarn shop like this exists an hour from me. It's rare to find a shop with so much to offer.

New crocheter here! Looking for a place to learn AND maybe make some new friends? Look no further! I'm about 4-5 weeks into taking beginners classes with Becky. She offers a variety of days & times, as seen on the Knitter's Edge website under "learn". I am genuinely in love with this place, the yarn selection is so big, and the floor staff is so helpful. Jen has assisted me a few times and happily answers any questions I've had. I feel so welcomed by everyone I've encountered, from the owner to all the staff, but especially my new teacher, Becky. She is such a great teacher. From managing small classes of 2-3 crocheters, to larger classes with 12-13 knitters AND crocheters, she can handle questions and distribute her knowledge & warm hospitality with ease. Cash only for classes, but they will accept cards & Apple Pay for other goods they sell in store! Thank you to the staff for running such a wonderful business.

If you're looking for a great community to explore your creativity , meet new people, and have the support from knowledgeable staff who are always so welcoming, then Knitter's Edge is the place for you. I just love their wide selection of yarns in so many vast colors and how refreashed I feel after taking a weekend class. Thanks for such an amazing experience!

Went in for nothing in particular on a whim. Wow!!! Now I’ve completed my first project with yarn purchased from there and a free pattern! Baby blanket for my baby sister! Been crocheting for years and was worried that this was a knit only place! Boy was I blown away! Staff amazing, options amazing, and patterns to boot!?!?!? So happy and can NOT wait to return!

The staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Yarn selection was amazing. The place was very cozy. Excited to know they offer knitting and crochet classes. Will definitely come back with the kids
