Fantastic dim sum. I ordered for pickup as it was across the street from my hotel. I tried the chicken noodles, shrimp and pork spicy dumplings and crab and pork soup dumplings. Everything was very tasty. The chili oil is a must. I could see everything being even better eating at the restaurant with a fresh order. I would definitely give this place a try if youre debating.

Din Tai Fung remains the gold standard for dumplings, offering a dining experience that is as versatile as it is delicious. Whether you are hosting a work occasion, dining as a single person, or bringing the whole family together, the atmosphere fits perfectly. The Highlights: • Quality & Craftsmanship: The dumplings and Shumai are all freshly handmade, maintaining a quality that is truly on par with what you would find in Taiwan. • The "Pro" Move: If you are dining solo, skip the wait and head directly to the bar. The service is incredibly quick for walk-ins, and they offer an innovative, full-service bar program. • Must-Order Dish: Beyond the dumplings, the mango-shrimp salad (often served with crisp lettuce) is refreshing, delicious, and a great contrast to the savory dishes. Know Before You Go: • Peak Times: It gets very busy during lunch and dinner rushes, so plan ahead or utilize the bar seating if you're in a hurry. • Efficiency: Even when packed, the service is remarkably streamlined and professional. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic flavors and a sophisticated yet accessible dining environment.

Din Tai Fung in Bellevue was absolutely packed during the weekend, and we ended up waiting around an hour for a table. Thankfully, the food overall was pretty delicious. The highlight was definitely the pork xiao long bao, with great wrapper texture, juicy filling, and consistently good. The sweet and sour pork ribs were really good as well, flavorful and cooked nicely. The bao buns, on the other hand, felt a bit average compared to the other dishes. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and would come back again. That said, the food here feels more tailored toward the general public rather than fully representing the depth and variety of Taiwanese cuisine and culture. Still a solid spot, especially for people introducing themselves to this style of food.

I really loved the dumplings, fried noodles, and fried rice—everything was flavorful and well prepared. The highlight for me was the chocolate dumplings. They're a perfect dessert and definitely worth trying. One thing to keep in mind: the weekend wait times can be crazy at the Bellevue location, so make sure to add your name to the waitlist before you arrive to save time. Also, parking is convenient since they validate parking for the Lincoln Square garage. Overall, excellent food and service. I'll definitely be coming back!

Din Tai Fung has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I first tried it over ten years ago, and during this trip back to Seattle, I was happy to find that the quality is just as good as it was back then. The dishes came out quickly. My favorite is the spicy wontons (with fresh pork and shrimp) — they’re flavorful with just the right hint of sweetness. I also love the braised beef noodle soup — the beef is tender and in large chunks, and the broth is rich and hearty. These two are my top picks. However, the service still needs improvement. The server brought dishes over my child’s head, which was quite dangerous. In addition, our server only took our order and didn’t provide any other service — our water was never refilled.
