Curveside Bar & Grill

We had dinner tonight at Curveside and once again left happy! I ordered the Curveside Clucker with fries (grilled chicken sandwich), and it was delicious — great flavor, tender chicken, and the fries were hot and crispy. My husband tried the breaded tenderloin and was equally pleased with his meal. We’ve eaten here several times and have enjoyed everything from taco night to the fried chicken and fish dinners. Every meal has been consistently good. We’ve also had breakfast here and honestly think it’s one of the best breakfast spots we’ve tried — and we love checking out local breakfast places! Tonight our server, Jen, was very friendly and took great care of us throughout our meal. The atmosphere is another reason we keep coming back: it has that comfortable hometown gathering-place feel while still being very clean and welcoming. We’re already looking forward to coming back and enjoying the outdoor dining area this summer! Highly recommend supporting this local favorite! ❤️

Curveside Bar & Grill a new place has recently opened in Athens, IL. We stopped in today 2-14-26 after 1:30pm. Restaurant was busy, however a couple tables were available. I ordered the hand breaded pork tenderloin $14.99 and waffle fries (upcharge $1.50). Food came out looking good. BPT was lightly seasoned and about a 1/4+ thickness, however I feel it could have used some more seasoning flavors. I really noticed the breading did not stick to the meat, it fell off at every cut. Overall it wasnt bad and I'll give them an opportunity to get things in order since its a new business. Looking forward to going back in a month or so for another opportunity.

We absolutely love the way this place has evolved since they purchased it from the old owners. It’s so nice and clean and our server Jen was great! Live music outside was fun and I love that they serve products from the local winery, West Of Wise, at their bar. Food was tasty and we really enjoy coming here. The new owners have really knocked it out of the ballpark.

Good food, good service, local bar & grill atmosphere. These folks know what they are about and they do it well. Good variety in the menu. Everyone liked what they ordered.

We had an amazing experience at Curveside Bar & Grill! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, the food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to our waitress Tammy, who truly went above and beyond for our table. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!
