Find bargains and treasures at the Fall Community Garage Sale and Vendor Fair on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Upper Longview Park, 1300 17th Street in Rock Island.

Shoppers can browse over 6,000-square-feet of makers’ market, garage sale and craft vendors for toys, home décor, furniture, trinkets, home-made items, vendors and more.

Dog Food Sold Nationwide Recalled Over Possible Metal Contamination, FDA Warns

Thousands of cases of canned dog food sold across the United States are being recalled because the products may contain metal. Wisconsin-based Fromm Family Foods is recalling 3,852 cases of Fromm Turkey Pate Wet Dog Food and 1,973 cases of Fromm Diner Classics Milo's Meatloaf Pate Wet Dog Food. The company announced the recall on August 21, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration published the alert the same day.
