Fishers of Men tournament brings anglers to QCA

The Fishers of Men's 2026 Berkley Team Series District 11 Championship is bringing anglers to Rapids City on September 11-12. The championship features teams from the IL Central and IA divisions, bringing competitive fishing to the region while highlighting the Quad Cities as a riverfront recreation destination.

“We’re excited to welcome Fishers of Men anglers to the Quad Cities and the Mississippi River,” said Joan Kranovich, Vice President of Business Growth & Director, Sports QC, Visit Quad Cities. “The Quad Cities offer an incredible setting for competitive fishing, with the Mississippi River providing both a challenging course for anglers and a scenic backdrop for visitors. Events like this bring passionate competitors to our region while highlighting the experiences that make the Quad Cities a premier destination for sporting events.”

The Mississippi River offers a challenge for even experienced competitors. Participants will be able to experience the Quad Cities’ riverfront and local attractions during their stay.

“We’re looking forward to bringing the Berkley Team Series District 11 Championship to the Mississippi River and the Quad Cities,” said Bobby Eads, Sr. Vice President, Fishers of Men. “The river offers a unique and challenging opportunity that will test the skills and adaptability of every team competing. We look forward to an exciting weekend of competition for our anglers and fans.”
