Mississippi Valley Fair update – Chance for storms Friday evening

There’s a chance we get some thunderstorms in the Quad Cities right around showtime Friday evening…

That’s not a great thing for the MVF concert. If we get storms this evening the most likely time would be between 6:30 and 9:30. It’s not a sure thing we get storms though. There’s still a good chance they pass to our West.

As of 4:30pm the storms are around Waterloo and they should be turning to the SE soon.

If we get storms they could come with hail and some damaging winds.

Right now there is a severe t’storm watch for areas West of the Quad Cities until 10pm.
