Davenport Fire Department asks for public input on strategic plan development

The Davenport Fire Department is asking for public feedback to guide its strategic plan development for the next five years. Residents can complete a brief survey to give input on how the Davenport Fire Department can best serve the community in the future.

Questions ask for feedback on emergency response, fire prevention and community education programs and survey responses will be used to identify priorities, evaluate current services and inform future planning efforts. The survey is part of the department’s strategic planning process for 2027 -2032.

Participation in the survey is voluntary and responses will remain anonymous. The survey should take about 8 -10 minutes to complete. The survey is open through August 21 and can be completed by clicking here.

“Community input is essential as we plan for the future,” said Chief Jeff VanderWiere. “This survey gives residents an opportunity to share their perspectives and help ensure the Davenport Fire Department continues to provide the highest level of service to our community.”
