Playcrafters Barn Theatre presents “Murder by Poe.”
According to a release from Playcrafters, “Murder by Poe” by Jeffrey Hatcher is an adaptation of several Poe favorites delivered in an eerie, humorous way.
Murder by Poe is about an enigmatic traveler who discovers a dark residence where she encounters figures with haunting accounts. These stories—drawn from the legendary macabre repertoire of Poe—unfold as an eerie tapestry of suspense. With its clever storytelling and ghostly atmosphere, the production promises a thrilling and accessible show for audiences of all ages.
“Murder by Poe” run August 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. and August 9 and 16 at 3:00 p.m. at Playcrafters Barn Theatre, located at 4950 35th Ave., Moline. For tickets or more information, click here.

Not 30. 3,” adding that it’s “less than a gallon of milk” and joking that it’s “about the weight of an average human brain.” Despite the miniature size, the message from Forever Paws is clear: Colbert is a puppy with a big personality, and the shelter is hoping the right adopter will be ready for the responsibility that comes with such a small, energetic dog.
