Trinity Muscatine Public Health hosting back to school clinic

Trinity Muscatine Public Health is helping area families get ready for a new school year.

The fifth annual Back-to-School Health Clinic is a convenient, one-stop opportunity to obtain important health screenings. Families in Muscatine and surrounding areas can attend the clinic, hosted by Trinity Muscatine Public Health, on Thursday, August 6, from 12 – 6:30 p.m. at McKinley Elementary School, 621 Kindler Avenue.

Available services include:

Dental screenings
Topical fluoride application
Vision screenings
Lead testing
Developmental screenings (ages 0 to 5)

Staff will be on-site to answer questions about immunizations, insurance and other resources. Community partners will also be on hand with information about local programming and support services.

“This event is a great opportunity for families to access important health services in one convenient location before the school year begins,” said Jen Craft, director of Trinity Muscatine Public Health. “The clinic brings together healthcare providers, educators and community organizations to make essential health services more accessible for families. By working together, we can help children start the school year healthy, supported and ready to succeed.”

Kelsi Jordan Krum has been missing from Arcadia, Florida (DeSoto County), since August 11, 1994, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Her mother, Kelli Jo Krum (pictured below), also disappeared. Kelsi would now be 32 years old, and her mother would be 53.

The author used artificial intelligence in the crafting of this report. Back in the 1990s before weed was legal in most places the product sometimes came in a compressed brick. You would need an ice pick to break up the weed, which also had a lot of seeds. It definitely felt like a Sativa and this brick weed never failed to tickle your funny bone.
