Maybe they'll spend half the day leaning against a truck discussing the weather with another guy who's also apparently on an extended coffee break.

From Hoarding Survivor to Heart-Stealer: Local Rescue Wonders Why Sweet Little Joey is Still Waiting
Shultz’s Guest House, a 501c3 dog rescue shelter in Dedham, Massachusetts, is asking the community to take a fresh look at Joey, a small senior dog who, despite a bright spirit and a big heart for people, is still waiting for the home everyone assumed would come quickly. The rescue recently shared Joey’s story: “Joey wants to remind you that age is just a number. Even though he’s well into his golden years, Joey isn’t slowing down.” After surviving “a hoarding situation and finally getting the fresh start he deserved,” Joey has thrown himself into what matters most to him now, connection, spending his days “hopping from one lap to the next” as if to make up for lost time.
