Showers, t’storms, snow and temps from the 70s to the 20s…all coming March 19!

Mother nature sure throws us some curveballs during the spring! Especially in the month of March it seems.

Wednesday will be a wild weather day with showers and a few isolated t’storms during the first half of the day. Then it dries out temporarily as a dry slot gets pulled into this big storm.

But the wild weather doesn’t stop there! As colder air gets pulled in on the backside of the storm, temps fall from around 70° to the upper 20s by Thursday morning.

And with a secondary surge of moisture, we’ll see up to an inch of snow later Wednesday night!

It could be worse though – severe storms are possible near Chicago while a Blizzard Warning is in effect on the other side of Iowa!

A widening food recall connected to a multistate Salmonella outbreak now covers dips, salsas, guacamole and prepared meals sold by some of America's largest grocery chains. Taylor Fresh Foods announced the voluntary recall on Aug. 9 after learning that jalapeno supplier Coast Citrus Distributors was recalling peppers because of possible Salmonella contamination. The affected jalapenos came from a grower in Sinaloa, Mexico, identified as the likely source of an ongoing outbreak.
