With Valentine’s Day approaching, feelings of loneliness can also start to arise. According to a Gallup Survey, one in five people say they feel lonely. That’s why we’re “Checking In” with James Castillo, a mental health advocate and volunteer with The Gray Matters Collective.

The freshest grapes in the grocery store are going to be ones where the stem is still green and is flexible. 7-Eleven clerk revives three overdosed customers

A 7-Eleven clerk in Denver has resuscitated three customers with Narcan in the past few months, and one of the rescues was witnessed by this reporter. Arica Crowley works in the 7-Eleven across from Quebec Square. She said she didn’t sign up to save lives when she applied at the retailer but doesn’t mind the extra duty. She said what disappoints her most is that many people, when revived, become angry and storm off without accepting further help. Coming out of the high with Narcan has been described as a hellacious experience.
