The Warriors, on the strength of stellar pitching from Carson Kuhns and Wes Coolbaugh, made two first-inning runs stand up for the win. Kuhns and Coolbaugh each allowed just one hit, with Kuhns throwing the first five innings and Coolbaugh coming on for the save. Austin Kellerâs two-run single provided all the offense the Warriors would need. Spencer Griffie was strong on the mound for the Thundering Herd, settling down after the first inning to allow just two more hits and striking out eight in going the distance.

Local artistâs work connects art to ACACâs annual golf tournament
After displaying an exhibit of beautiful pastel paintings created by Links resident and artist Wanda Snader Dehan at the Adams County Arts Council (ACAC) in January, Dehan graciously granted ACAC permission to use some of her works depicting landscapes of The Links to bring attention to ACACâs 9th Annual Tee it Up FORE the Arts golf tournament. The tournament is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, at The Links. Registration on April 25 begins at 12:30 p.m., with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.
