MR. DERRICK RAMSEY with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center provided the Littlefield Rotary Club program on Thursday, March 23. He shared a summary of the program he oversees. The Lamb County Soil and Water Conservation District is currently taking orders for the Spring Windbreak Tree and other plants sales.
There is a variety of trees and other plants available, but everyone interested is strongly encouraged to get orders in as quickly as possible to ensure the variety and quantity of the trees and plants are available.
The last day to submit an order is Monday, March 27, 2023, with a check made out to Lamb County SWCD.
All area Cotton Gins have lists of trees available. Please call Arcie Rodriquez at 806- 385- 4044, Ext. 117, or email her at lambcounty@swcd.texas.gov Those who are interested can either pick up the order forms from one of the area gins, or email Arci to have her send them a list via email. The public can also pick up order forms at the SWCD office located at 2431 S. If there is a particular variety of tree, or plant, not listed on the order form, feel free to ask about it, since it can possibly be acquired from another nursery.
