Doble gets prison for sale of drugs

2023-09-29

Ashley Jade Doble, 40, Little Falls, was sentenced in Morrison County District Court to 65 months in a correctional facility and a $50 fine for a first degree controlled substance crime.

The charge stems from an incident in June 2021, when an investigator with the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force was in contact with a confidential informant (CI), to arrange a controlled purchase of methamphetamine from Doble.

The CI was provided with a quantity of buy money and directed to go to the business in Little Falls to meet with Doble.

Officers watched the CI drive to the business and meet with Doble in a parking lot. Doble got out of her vehicle and spoke to the CI for a short amount of time. Surveillance observed Doble grab something out of her clothing and hand it to the CI, before getting into her vehicle and leaving.

After Doble left, the CI met with the investigator at a predetermined location and turned over a substance they said they purchased from Doble, that later field-tested positive for meth.

In July 2021, a CI contacted the investigator stating they could purchase methamphetamine from Doble, and made arrangements to purchase the meth at her residence in Northwest Little Falls.

The investigator provided the CI with buy money and observed the CI going to Doble’s residence in Little Falls and leaving once again a short time later.

The CI drove to a predetermined location and turned over a quantity of meth to the investigator, saying they had purchased it from Doble with the buy money provided. The substance later field-tested positive for methamphetamine.

The methamphetamine purchased from Doble from the two sales totaled more than 20 grams without packaging.
