NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Loboes of Lamoure/Litchville/Marion came from behind to defeat the Wolves of Kidder County on Wednesday afternoon 4-2 to win their third consecutive Region 3 High School Baseball championship. The Loboes are now 12-1, KC ends their season at 10-9 overall.

The Wolves came out strong in the top of the first inning, scoring two runs. But the Loboes scored two in the bottom of the third and two more in the bottom of the fourth. Anthony Hanson picked up the victory on the mound for the Loboes, working seven innings, 85 pitches, two earned runs, three strikeouts, three hits, no walks and one hit batter. Isaiah Oster took the loss. At the plate for LLM, Eighth grader Mason Warcken was 2-for-2 with two singles.

The LLM Loboes will play at the State B Baseball tournament at Minot’s Corbitt Field, Thursday-Saturday, June 1st-3rd. You can hear their games on KDDR the Tornado AM 1220/FM 95.9 & 100.3 and newsdakota.com.
