Lewiston officials issue condemnation order for Ramada Inn
LEWISTON, Maine — A Lewiston hotel that had been used to temporarily house asylum seekers last year has been condemned because of code violations. Lewiston's Department of Planning and Code Enforcement issued a condemnation order for the Ramada Inn on Pleasant Street on Thursday after officials said the owners failed to meet a deadline to make needed repairs.
