Midday Interview: TADA Theatre sings the 70s in style

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — You can hear the hits of a bygone era at TADA Theatre’s new show, “8 Track: The Sounds of the 70’s.”

One of the performers, Daniel Ikpeama, stopped by the studio on Tuesday to tell us all about the show.

It celebrates the best songs from the biggest acts at the time, like the Carpenters, Barry Manilow, Marvin Gaye and the Doobie Brothers.

Ikpeama said it wouldn’t be the 70s without disco, so you’ll also hear bands like the Bee Gees.

Catch “8 Track: The Sounds of the 70’s” at TADA, in Lincoln’s Haymarket, from June 15 to July 2.

Tickets are available on the TADA website.
