After sweeps of their first two opponents on Thursday and Friday, the team continued their dominance, defeating Dentil Praia Clube on Saturday, with winning sets of 25-9, 25-7, and again 25-7, to complete another perfect match, as the team completes pool play with a 3-0 record.

The Huskers earn the tournament title in the process, thanks to 10 kills from Lindsay Krause,,who also had three aces and two blocks. Bekka Allic also added six kills and two blocks, as it was a complete team effort with every member of the program seeing some playing time on the court.

The Huskers had a training session on Sunday and will now fly to Rio de Janeiro on Monday as they prepare for a matchup with the U21 Brazilian National Team at 5 p.m. Tuesday before taking on the Military Selection team which features some of the Brazilian National team players at 5 p.m. on Wednesday

The team continues its trip which includes multiple youth outreach events. NU will also tour the Brazilian National Team Training Center in Saquarema, one of the most prestigious volleyball training facilities in the world.
