A World War II veteran from Lincoln recently had an extra special 100th birthday party at Runza.All Alfred Zieg wanted for his birthday was a Runza hamburger and a strawberry milkshake.Runza said they learned of his request from an article in the Lincoln Journal Star.On Alfred's 100th birthday Wednesday, the Runza located near South 70th and VanDorn streets in Lincoln made his request happen.The restaurant had a special table for Alfred with birthday balloons and decorations, plus a cake and a card.Runza shared an adorable video from Alfred's party on social media."we are honored to have served him his 100th birthday meal! what a guy," Runza posted on Twitter.Get the latest headlines from KETV NewsWatch 7
