AND EVEN WITH THAT, THE SYSTEM MUST FIND A WAY TO RESOLVE A BUDGET SHORTFALL ESTIMATED TO TOP $84 MILLION OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS. AND NEW PRESIDENT TED CARTER LED THE PRESENTATION TODAY TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS AT 3.5%, STUDENTS WILL PAY AN EXTRA $9 PER CREDIT HOUR AT WILL BE $8. AND CARTER SAYS THAT’S STILL A BARGAIN. I WANT TO JUST REMIND EVERYBODY THAT NEBRASKA HAS THE LOWEST TUITION IN THE BIG TEN AT THIS POINT.
