Betty Jean Carpenter Pfaff turns 100 years old on Monday, March 27. She has lived in Wyoming and Montana her entire life.

Her life has been an adventure and a testimony to the frontier spirit. From growing up in Atlantic City surrounded by the booming gold mines, to driving school buses, writing several books and being involved in the local oil fields, she has spent her life surrounded by friends and family.

Some of her favorite memories involve trips to Alaska, painting with friends and going out to the desert to hunt for arrowheads.

To celebrate, she would like to invite anyone who can to join her at the South Lincoln Event Center on Friday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
