BROOKHAVEN — Inmates are eating at an A grade facility in the Lincoln County Jail. The Mississippi Department of Health gave the facility an A rating along with two other establishments Thursday. 

Two ice plant facilities did not receive any rating with an X demarcated on the MSDH website. Eden Street Ice Houses are found on US51 with one at 448 US51 South and the other at 1256 US51 North. They were last given a rating in 2018 by earning As. 

Lincoln County Jail, located at 215 Justice Street, received an A for the 11th straight time since 2018. It is classified as a correctional facility under establishment type. 

Holiday Inn and Express, located at 1212 Brookway Boulevard, received an A Thursday. It is classified as a Fast Food or Delicasten according to MSDH records. The hotel has received an A six straight times and seven As since 2013. 

The Snow Shack 5 LLC, located at 970 West Lincoln Drive Southwest, received its second straight A since 2022. It is classified as a Flavored Ice/Snowball establishment
