Veranda Kitchen & Bar set to open at East Brown Cow’s Old Port Square - brokered by Malone Commercial

Portland, ME According to East Brown Cow and Old Port Square, Veranda Kitchen & Bar has signed a lease at Suite 103, 425 Fore St. in Old Port. The family-owned restaurant group has signed a seven-year lease for the 1,381 s/f space. Peter Harrington of Malone Commercial Brokers brokered the deal. Expected to open this fall, it will bring the brand’s traditional Vietnamese and Thai cuisines, including legendary bowls of hot pho, to the Old Port.

Wiscasset Resident Earns First Place in National Oyster Contest

Andy Rogers, co-owner of Jolie Rogers Raw Bar in Wiscasset, took first place in the U.S. National Oyster Shucking Championships in Maryland on Sunday, Oct. 18. The competition is a two-day event taking place during the U.S. Oyster Festival in Leonardtown, Md.
