Some Voters Received The Wrong Ballots In Primary Election
Human error led to some voters in the May primary election receiving the wrong ballot. Ann Torpy, Kosciusko County clerk for the Superior and Circuit Courts, explained that when a pollworker at Community Life Center, 825 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, activated the voting machine, the pollworker gave 104 voters the same ballot, not giving them the ballot for where they live.

What’s Happening On Lake Tippecanoe
The Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners (LTPO) will host several events over the summer. The public is invited. On June 15, there will be a fish and chicken fry. This fundraiser is being held at Camp Crosley from 5 to 8 p.m. or until sold out. At T1A Lane, there will be an all-you-can-eat dine-in opportunity with live entertainment. The cost is $15 per person. Children 5 and under are free. If carry-out is your choice, T1A Lane is where you will want to go. Just pull up and receive your meal of fish and chicken. For an extra cost, desserts will be available at both locations, according to a news release from the LTPO.

A Syracuse man was in critical but stable condition after a Friday evening crash in the area of North Ind. 13 and Executive Drive. According to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputies and emergency personnel responded Friday at 6:09 p.m. to a motorcycle-versus-truck crash on North Ind. 13 at the intersection of Executive Drive in Kosciusko County. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and found a motorcycle and a pick-up truck involved in the crash.
