Community Invited To Be A Part Of Public Art Piece
The Warsaw Public Arts Commission (WPAC) invites the community to be a part of the newest public art piece - “Reflection” - downtown during Third Friday on June 21. Nationally selected artist Gail Christofferson will host a session where glass panels will be inserted into portions of the mosaic that will become a one of a kind sculpture for the community. WPAC looks forward to seeing the community at their booth by City Hall to participate in the building of this piece of art, to be installed later this summer. Standoff leads to arrest
A police standoff of more than three hours resulted in the arrest of a 33- year-old man. According to a release from the Huntington County Police Department, at approximately 9:35 p.m. June 3, Huntington Central Dispatch received information that Nathan Lee Fugate, a 33-year-old white male, was located at 248 Roche St. in Huntington. Fugate had outstanding warrants for his arrest which were issued out of Allen County.
