17-year-old arrested after bringing gun to a Schertz school, police say
SCHERTZ, Texas — A teen has been arrested after police say he brought a gun to the Allison Steele Learning Center in Schertz. On Monday around 9 a.m., the Schertz Police Department (SPD) responded to the Allison Steele Learning Center after receiving reports that a student had a gun on campus. A joint investigation with SPD and school administration was initiated to identify the student as soon as possible.

SAN ANTONIO – A man is facing charges after breaking into mailboxes at a Northwest Side apartment complex, according to San Antonio police. A person reported Quentin George Jr., 43, took a crowbar and broke into the community mailboxes at a complex in the 8800 block of Cinnamon Creek on Feb. 18, taking a large amount of mail.
