Joshua Lugo-Perez, 19, Jesus Perez-Salome, eight, and Sebastian Perez-Salome, nine, were killed, Lebanon Mayor Sherry Capello and Lebanon City Police Chief Bret Fisher confirmed.

The boys are students in the Lebanon School District, Capello said.

A 33-year-old man is said to be recovering after surgery. Other people were also present in the home at the time of the tragedy.

“It appears, at the early stages of this investigation, that one of the victims was targeted and the other three victims were uninvolved,” Fisher added.

SWAT team members raided a home and took a person of interest into custody, but arrested them on unrelated matters, officials revealed.

Authorities are now working with the county district attorney’s office, and state police, as part of the ongoing investigation.

Fisher declined to say how many people were being sought in the case, and what may have led up to the shooting. He said he couldn’t say how many shots were fired.

"First let me start with the obvious - these shootings are unacceptable,” Capello said. "As a mom, I cannot overstate how heartbroken I am for these families. As the mayor, I am heartbroken for our community."
