Firefighters from Lebanon were kept unusually busy over the weekend and into the work week.
Firefighters dealt with three fires within their district and aided Sweet Home when they had a structure fire Monday evening.
The third fire in Lebanon happened Tuesday morning just before 7 a.m. The first arriving units found a home on Maple Street with flames and smoke coming from both the house and the attached garage.
Firefighters say it was a challenge to battle the blaze because of the older construction of the home and the large number of contents in and around the structure.
The house fire Tuesday morning happened right before the scheduled shift change, which allowed Lebanon Fire to respond with 25 personnel between their A and B shifts, Commanding Officers, and volunteers.
One resident was treated for a minor burn. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
