Nearly three dozen animals rescued from hoarding situation in Middletown
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — On Wednesday, Middletown Police obtained a search warrant for a home on Hille Avenue in Middletown. Upon searching the house, they discovered dozens of animals living in filthy and deplorable conditions. Officers determined that the house needed to be condemned, and after reaching out to Middletown ACO, that's when Animal Friends Humane Society also stepped in to help rescue as many of the animals as possible.

Kettering’s Fraze Pavilion will host Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band later this summer. The concert by the former Beatle and his band is scheduled for 8 p.m. Sept. 15 as part of a 12-show tour running through the fall, officials of the city-owned 4,300-seat outdoor venue announced Thursday.
Agave & Rye in Hamilton moves toward completion
Construction continues for the Agave & Rye restaurant project on Main Street in Hamilton. The Hamilton location will be the franchise’s 18th location and second in Butler County, having opened the Liberty Center location in October 2019. The restaurant that will be at the former Ritzi Auto Body is projected to open mid-year, though a date has not been announced.
