For the first time since May of 2020, Lebanon I-44 Speedway will host a race at the asphalt track.
The track will be the site of the Fire Cracker 150 by the SRL National Series.
The SRL is a national touring Super Late Model Series with races in California, Michigan, Alabama, Florida and Missouri and will be leasing the track.
Along with the Fire Cracker 150, the track will also host an event on August 24.
“Our race teams have raved about I-44 Speedway, so when we got the opportunity to lease the track and host two events, we jumped on it,” Brian Olsen of SRL said. “Geographically it was important to us, as we want to establish a larger footprint for our race series moving forward. The people associated with the track and the support of race fans from the area have been very refreshing.”
