What a waste of money

I am a disabled citizen of Leasburg. I don’t receive much in benefits from the state to go around the Intersection of Route 66 and Highway H.
It’s been a concern of mine for years. It’s an emergency route for I-44 traffic.

They place six officers there to watch the traffic go two ways. It would seem to be an entire community has to go 20 to 30 miles out of their way to get home.
Skippy’s Route 66 Restaurant is right behind them and even they can’t get to work on time.
I’m not going around. It will cost me money I need for doctor visits and I’m positive the county won’t reimburse me, not to mention the rest of the community.
But while those six officers stand there and do their job, we all have to pay it. Seems to be a waste to me.
I think a traffic light may be in order. It would help the taxpayers while six cops do nothing.
