Spring cleaning becomes a city-wide event in Sturgis
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - As spring starts to bloom in the Black Hills, Sturgis residents are knee-deep in their annual city-wide cleanup week. People are urged to take part in the city-wide event by putting unwanted items on the curb by 7 a.m. on their regular trash day. From there, city crews will collect the unwanted goods. Rick Bush, the director of public works in Sturgis, says the community spring clean-up is a great way to help the people of Sturgis.
