CLAY COUNTY — A Lawson man was seriously hurt in a wreck early Tuesday, June 6, after his car struck a horse in the roadway of U.S. Highway 69.

According to a highway patrol crash report, the collision occurred before 4:30 a.m. when Curtis C. Trawick, 56, of Lawson, drove a 2002 Acura northbound on U.S. 69, south of Robyn Lane. After the impact with the horse, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road overturned.
