GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A fire at an extended stay in Norcross left 50 people displaced on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services. Firefighters responded shortly before 5 p.m. at InTown Suites Extended Stay at 6067 Buford Highway. Crews then deployed multiple fire hoses to fight the flames and helped with evacuating the hotel, according to a release.
Man arrested for cocaine on Medlock Bridge Road
JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Police arrested a 42-year-old Atlanta man April 7 after they found cocaine in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Medlock Bridge Road. Police pulled the suspect over for suspended registration. The suspect provided a driver’s license that did not match his description, which had been suspended for driving under the influence, according to the incident report.
