14 people displaced after fire rips through Lawrence triple-decker

LAWRENCE — Fourteen people including two children are homeless after a quick-moving blaze destroyed a triple-decker on Bradford Street around midnight.

Lawrence fire officials tell Boston 25 that when they first arrived heavy flames were already shooting out from the rear of the building.

Crews were able to douse the fire but the older construction made it difficult to put flames out.

Everyone inside the home made it out safely.

An investigation into what sparked the blaze is underway.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
