Joseph Yesufu becomes 4th Kansas player to enter portal

Kansas backup guard Joseph Yesufu entered the transfer portal on Thursday, becoming the fourth Jayhawk to do so this week.

According to reports, Kansas officials confirmed Yesufu’s decision.

Yesufu averaged 4.1 points and made 24 3-pointers in 35 games (three starts) this season. He averaged 12.7 minutes per game.

In two seasons with the Jayhawks, Yesufu averaged 3.1 points in 69 games (three starts). He spent his first two seasons at Drake — averaging 12.8 points in 2020-21 — before transferring to Kansas.

The other Kansas players entering the portal are guard Bobby Pettiford and forwards Zach Clemence and Cameron Martin.
