Falcons fly in homecoming win over Rustlers
BILLINGS- In front of a packed house for homecoming night, Billings Skyview put on for the Falcons faithful in a 17-14 win over Great Falls CMR. Grayden Wilkinson ran for a score and threw for another, and Bridger Felchle’s 38-yard field goal in the second quarter proved to be the difference as the Falcons earned their second victory of the season by nipping the Rustlers in a game where all the points were scored in the first half.
Focus and a little bit of humor propel Tye Boone to state golf championship
BILLINGS--It was a wild finish at Lake Hills Golf Course for the boys' AA golf title. Early in the tournament, all eyes were on Glacier's Sam Engellant and Sentinel's Kade McDonaugh, who were locked in a tie. But flying under the radar was Skyview senior Tye Boone, who, after sitting back in the top five at the end of day one, shot the best round of the tournament with a 68.
Billings high school lacrosse program to scrimmage at Amend Park Oct. 8
BILLINGS — Beartooth Lacrosse, a Billings high school lacrosse program, will host a showcase scrimmage at Amend Park on the turf field from 4 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8. According to a press release sent from Beartooth Lacrosse, since 2014 two competing teams had represented Billings in high school lacrosse. Those two teams have merged to form the new program the release stated.
