Delaware State Police Investigating Two Shooting Incidents at Same Residence

LAUREL, DE – The Delaware State Police are actively investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred at the same residence in Laurel earlier this week. On the morning of March 19, 2023, troopers were dispatched to a home on the 14000 block of Shiloh Church Road following a report of shots being fired. Upon arrival, detectives discovered that an unknown suspect had fired several shots into the side of the house at approximately 3:00 a.m.

In a similar incident, in the early morning hours of Thursday, troopers were once again called to the same residence for additional shots fired at the home. Fortunately, none of the occupants of the house were struck or injured in either incident.

No suspect has been identified in connection with the shootings, and surveillance video and images are not yet available. The Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is actively investigating both incidents and urging anyone with information about these cases to contact Detective Z. Spudis by calling 302-856-5850.
