Police: Arrest made in deadly drug transaction shooting at east Las Vegas valley apartment complex
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police arrested a suspect in the deadly shooting at an east valley apartment complex that was connected to a drug transaction. Jeremiah Smith, 21, is facing felony charges of open murder with the use of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of robbery with the use of a deadly weapon following the May 14 shooting in a landscaped area inside the Amber Ridge Apartment complex near Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue.
