Las Vegas murder suspect arrested by SWAT in north Idaho

RATHDRUM, ID. - A murder suspect was arrested by SWAT in north Idaho, Friday.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office said they got word from police in Las Vegas that a homicide suspect they had been tracking could be in Kootenai County.

According to Las Vegas Metro Police, a 16-year-old boy had been shot and killed in Las Vegas earlier this month. Two of the three suspects were arrested, but the third fled the area after the shooting.

The third suspect was identified as 18-year-old Lennix M. Dockery and was arrested at a residence in Rathdrum that the LVMPD was able to confirm Dockery was staying at.

Officials said SWAT surrounded the home and began to make announcements from outside. Police said Dockery then exited the home without incident.
