Smith's Food and Drug stores are now accepting EBT payments for SNAP online grocery orders.
Customers can create an account on the Smith's website or via the app and add an EBT account number as a new card.
You then fill your car with SNAP-eligible items, select a pickup or delivery time and checkout.
Once on the checkout screen, select EBT as the payment method and enter the PIN to confirm the order.
"Thousands of Smith’s shoppers place digital orders every week. Now, we are opening our digital grocery shopping experience to more people, with fresh, affordable food conveniently available through Pickup or Delivery," Tina Murray, Smith's corporate affairs manager, said in a news release.
The grocery store chain, which is owned by Kroger, will continue to accept SNAP benefits in-store as well.
