A Los Angeles Rams assistant coach is credited with helping save the life of a drowning child at a Las Vegas resort this past weekend.
ESPN reports that defensive coordinator Raheem Morris was at the Encore with his family when he saw a boy drowning in the hotel pool.
While a lifeguard was performing CPR, Morris ran to get an automatic external defibrillator, or AED. A doctor also responded and Morris helped the doctor with applying the AED to resuscitate the boy.
Morris credited recent CPR, AED and first aid training that he underwent with the Rams. This all comes in light of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffering cardiac arrest during a game this past season.
Nicole Morris, Raheem Morris's wife, posted on Instagram that the boy was discharged from the hospital 24 hours later.
