A family's heartbreak is receiving some comfort through the generosity of their lost loved one.
Taylor Jenkins was a Southwest Airlines flight attendant with roots in Las Vegas. Her family lived in the valley when she was in elementary school before relocating to Orlando.
She died in a crash earlier this month in Florida. Her family says she was an organ donor and helped save the lives of five people, including one person who is only 26 years old.
Cindy Jenkins, Taylor's mother, said it's nice to know that her daughter's kindness will live on with others.
"Taylor is so loved, she has wonderful friends and family as you can see," Cindy Jenkins said. "We all gathered at the hospital as they took her to the operating room, and we just wanted to celebrate her one last time and what she was doing for others."
The family has set up a GoFundMe account to help with expenses for Taylor's funeral.
